The New Collection for Autumn Winter 2009 'Albertopolis' is based on the research made for the exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum; 'Hats, an Anthology by Stephen Jones'. Like the exhibition, the collection is divided into four themes.
Inspiration:
Hats of the past influencing millinery of the present.
Creation:
Shapes that describe the intricate process of hat making.
The Salon:
Accenting feminine design codes.
The Client:
Designs made over thirty years for designers, reinterpreted for today.
